David Szarka, MA, LCADC

Prior to his time at Footprints, he worked as a primary counselor for New Hope Foundation. Upon joining our team at Footprints to Recovery in 2016, David continued to work with clients as a primary counselor before transitioning into the executive director role. 

Throughout his career, David Szarka has provided compassionate care to individuals from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities, touching countless lives each day. Drawing from a wealth of experience in various treatment modalities, David firmly believes that a comprehensive holistic approach to mental health treatment as the most effective way to solidify long-term recovery. He also believes that there is nothing more rewarding than guiding those who have long suffered from mental illness toward a life of clarity, authenticity, and personal growth.
