Laurie Woodard, MA, LAC, LPC

Laurie holds a master’s degree in counseling from Regis University and is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed addiction counselor (LAC). She is also trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting. Before joining Footprints to Recovery, Laurie held leadership roles working with both youth and adults facing substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Laurie’s passion for behavioral health care stems from her own experiences. Growing up in a family affected by substance abuse and mental health challenges, she initially sought to avoid confronting those realities. However, these experiences ultimately shaped her ability to connect with and empathize deeply with others who are struggling. For Laurie, the most rewarding part of her work is witnessing the incredible growth in her clients, especially when they cannot yet see it within themselves.
