Jenna’s clinical expertise spans working with individuals facing homelessness, severe mental illness, and co-occurring substance use disorders. In California, she developed and managed several intensive, field-based programs that provided 24/7 services through the LA County Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the Veterans Administration (VA). These programs were rooted in “Housing First” and harm-reduction models, ensuring accessible and compassionate care for vulnerable populations.

After relocating to Denver, Colorado, in 2015, Jenna brought her deep knowledge, experience, and passion for addressing homelessness, mental health, and addiction to the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health (OBH). There, she played a pivotal role in securing SAMHSA grants to support mental health, co-occurring disorders, and housing service providers across the state.

Before assuming her current role as Executive Director at Footprints to Recovery, Jenna served as Division Director for Housing and Homelessness programs at Family Tree. In this position, she collaborated with local officials, city and county leaders, housing developers, and state agencies to implement Permanent Supportive Housing initiatives. These programs integrated field-based mental health and addiction services to address homelessness comprehensively and work toward its eradication in Colorado.
